The Weta Trimaran is a performance multihull designed for the recreational and performance sailor.
The inherent stability of the trimaran hulls make the Weta Trimaran an ideal boat for beginner and intermediate sailors who can choose from a range of sail configurations based on conditions and skill level.
Many families enjoy the Weta Trimaran for recreational weekend sailing and as a sail training craft to get the kids into learning how to sail.
The Weta Trimaran is very forgiving to sail and is easy to tack and jybe.
For the more advanced sailor, the Weta Trimaran is very comfortable to sail in 25kts and is very fast.
There are enthusiastic Weta Trimaran racing fleets in California.
The Weta Trimaran hulls are fiberglass vacuum bagged and the complete boat ready to sail only weight 220 lbs.
The mast and ama support tubes are carbon fibre.
Sails are Gaastra (think windsurfer) and made of Mylar to keep weight down and to increase visibility through the sails.
Hardware is top quality from Ronstan and Harken.
Weta has introduced new dagger board and rudder design with elliptical plan, foam core glass construction.
The rudder stock is carbon fibre.
Weta trimarans are in stock and available for delivery throughout the United States.
