| | | | Up for sale is this used 1990 Sportcraft Fishmaster 27.
This boat is part of an estate sale, and I am very motivated to sell.
The boat was used as a charter fishing boat on Lake Erie and has only had one owner.
The engine is original, and because there is no hour meter, there is no way to tell the amount of hours that have been put on the boat.
The transmission is not original and was replaced in 1997.
The boat has only been used in a freshwater environment and only during the summer months April-September.
Mechanically, the boat is in good working order, and all systems listed below in the spec sheet are serviceable.
Currently, the boat is dry-docked on a yard trailer in Marblehead, OH.
The trailer is included in this sale, but it should be noted that it would need some adjustments for highway use, (i.e. install lights, brakes, grease bearings, replace tires, etc.).
We only used the trailer for moving it around the yard, and it is in fine shape for doing just that.
The boat was used all last summer without any trouble, and it was in good working order when it was pulled out of the water and winterized for storage.
It shows signs of typical wear and tear not unlike what you would expect from a boat of this make and vintage.
For example, the wood in the cuddy is showing signs of softening, and while it is perfectly serviceable, could use some TLC.
Same could be said for the bimini top.
The electronics on board are in good working order.
The GPS Chartplotter and Depth Sounder were put into service in 2004.
The radio is a heavy duty Motorola with scrambler.
Routine maintenance was carried out in the Spring '08, including oil & filter change, and impeller replacement.
The 3-bladed propeller was last balanced and MRI'd in April of 2007.
The boat comes with a serviceable SPARE 3-bladed prop.
Batteries were changed in April 2006 and are in very good condition.
In the fall of 2005 we added a fume detector and fixed fire extinguishing system in the engine compartment.
The boat is equipped with the necessary safety equipment to take on six paying passengers, ("six-pack" in USCG parlance).
You could put this boat in the water tomorrow and start fishing.
The bolsters (gunwhale cushions), helm seat, passenge seat, and motor box cushion were replaced in 2006.
They are clean, and do not have tears in them.
Down in the cuddy, the cushions are in near new condition as we have had them in dry storage since 1991.
The marine toilet and waste storage system is in good working order.
There is no fresh water storage tank.
The fuel tank holds approximately 120 gallons of gasoline.
Laid into the deck are ice storage wells.
Under the passenger seat is a live bait well, but the circulating pump is out of order.
