The Sundancer 290 is what is commonly referred to as a mid-cabin sport
cruiser, which describes a general style that is popular among boat buyers
due to its sporty look and efficient use of space.
The 290's stylish design
results from a collaboration of Sea Ray's impressive research and
development team of more than 250 naval architects, engineers, interior
designers and technicians.
The layout features a half oval seating area forward that can be converted
to a double berth.
This is followed by a small dinette along the port side
which will accommodate two adults or four children comfortably.
This
dinette also converts to a berth but the berth is only 63 inches long and
not large enough for an adult.
Aft of the galley is a head with an integral shower with sump to discharge
shower water overboard.
Opposite the head is the entrance to the mid-cabin
and double berth.
The berth is tucked under the cockpit but there is nearly
three feet of clearance over the berth to the underside of the cockpit.
This cruiser has been primarily used for cruising an entertaining.
I am an
avid car guy and have maintained engines and drives since I ordered and
purchased this boat new in 2000 from a local dealer.
Cruising speed is about 22 mph and top speed 50+ mph depending on the load.
She offers first-rate construction, accommodations and performance, and a
reputation for quality and customer satisfaction that keeps Sea Ray owners
loyal and resale priced high.
FEATURES & EQUIPMENT:.
ENGINE: Less than 400 hours, Twin 5.7 Liter fuel injected Mercruisers with
Alpha drives and 3 blade stainless props,
Outdrive bellows and trim indicator switches were recently replaced.
INTERIOR FEATURES: Heat and Air Conditioning, Hot and Cold fresh water
system-rear transom shower, Vacu- Flush head - just rebuilt, Head shower -
never used, Shore Power 110 Volt, 3- 12 Volt battery system with inline A/C
charger.
GALLEY: Double burner electric stove - never used, 12 volt / 110 Volt
refrigerator.
ENTERTAINMENT: 13" built in TV/ VCR with RCA jacks, Clarion AM/FM stereo
with 10 disc CD changer and cassette and remote on dash.
EXTERIOR: Cockpit cover, Camper canvas, Slant rear canvas, Rear cockpit
table/ drop tube with filler cushions to complete rear sun deck,
Isenglass used 2 times all like new- stored inside in bag covers, Bow
filler cushion, snap in carpet, Remote spot light, Remote windlass, Tilt
steering wheel, Cockpit sink, Bumpers/ Ropes/Vests/ Safety Equipment.
