Accommodations
Sleeps six in two staterooms, one settee berth & one pilot berth.
Head room is 6'4".
Solid teak interior, teak & holly sole, solid African Mahogany compression post.
Bronze & brass fittings throughout.
Forward-ample access to the sail locker & chain locker is provided from the head.
The head has a marble vanity with bronze and porcelain taps, SS sink, and ample storage.
Moving aft is the main salon with a U-shaped dining area.
On the port side, the pilot berth has been converted for storage with removable teak shelving.
Port side settee/berth pulls out for extra seating at the table.
The large wrap around galley is on the starboard side, opposite the sit down nav station, and full length hanging locker.
The two aft staterooms (each with a hanging locker and settee), are separated by the companionway.
The master stateroom is larger and features a marble vanity with SS sink & mirror.
Both rooms have three opening ports & a dorade for superior ventilation.
Red courtesy lights throughout.
Fourteen opening bronze ports, three large hatches and four SS dorades provide excellent ventilation.

Deck:
Fiberglass hull laid up in alternate layers of mat & roving (over one inch thick near the keel).
A unique feature of the Lord Nelson 41 hull design is that the rub-rails are moulded in, making the hull extremely stiff.
Hull & deck color is white.
Upper deck, over the cabin, is inlaid with teak planking (3 separate areas on each side of the cabin).
The keel is cast iron and is moulded into the hull.
Waterline stripe is dark green.
The entire deck is surrounded by 6 inch high moulded in fiberglass combings for safety.
The cockpit area is finished in solid teak over the fiberglass base.
Four unique outboard storage lockers surround the cockpit area.
The destroyer type SS steering wheel is teak covered.

Rigging and Sails:
Rigging:
The boat is cutter rigged (extra inner forestay).
Mast is stepped on deck.
Top of mast is 57 feet above water level and provided with one set of spreaders.
All standing rigging is 3/8 inch wire and was completely replaced in 2002.
Swage-less terminals are provided on standing rigging throughout.
Backstay is serving as antennae for the SSB radio and is provided with special insulators at both ends.
All running rigging was replaced in 2002.
Slab reefing on main sail and roller furling (Profurl) on genoa.
Staysail is hankded on.
Boom is supported in a sturdy gallows terminated in solid bronze end-brackets.
