All original and nothing has been changed or modified and we still love it just the way it is. original johnson trailer. ************************************************************************ No one is ever too old or too young to own a classic.
I’m 21 years old and I absolutely love this boat.
My great grandfather bought this boat brand new and I inherited it when he passed away.
The boat sat in storage for about 15 years until I was old enough to take it out and take care of it on my own.
With all the new fancy boats these days it still amazes me how many compliments I get on this boat every time I take it out on the water.
She runs great, has the same original Johnson trailer with the tilt device for easy in and out of water access, and she’s a trooper when it comes to skiing.
We don’t get the chance to take it out as much as we would like because of our hectic life schedule, but when we do she makes a pretty wake for tubing, skiing, and wakeboarding.
Or when you need that relaxing night of fishing, she can be as comfortable as your own rocking chair.
Also, when the summer heat really tends to be almost unbearable this 1966 Johnson has an electric windshield that moves up and down for much needed airflow.
But as you know with classics they all tend to have their wear and tear or what we like to call its beauty marks.
This boat is in excellent condition.
The only thing I would have done different to this classic is replace the seat covers which have some cracks due to like I said, wear and tear.
We would love to keep the boat, but we are moving out of state and will no longer have a place to store the boat.
We would really love to see her with a good family because, after all, she is a part of ours and always has been.
Now all we have to do is find the perfect owner to keep this classic tradition going.
