Sparkman & Stevens Custom 47 foot sloop/cutter.
Built
in 1989 by Hylas at Queen Long Marine and first
floated in 1990 by present owner.
The Hylas 47 is the
predecessor of the Hylas 49, and is identical in
interior space and layout, at a cost of $100,000.00
less than a comparable Hylas 49.
Interior finished in
teak with teak and holly sole.
CABINS:
Three cabin model with centerline queen master with
ensuite head and shower, settee, hanging locker,
cosmetic desk, full length mirror, and ample storage
drawers.
Forward “V” birth with hanging locker, and
ample storage.
Port cabin has lower pull out double
and upper single.
Both cabins share second head and
shower.
All cabins incorporate 12 volt fans and
reading lights.
MAIN SALON:
Port side “L” shaped dinette with ample storage and
table that folds out to seat 6, comfortably.
Starboard
side has couch which slides out to form single bunk,
and an additional sea birth.
GALLEY:
Galley with twin stainless steel sinks and engine
driven Grunert refrigerator and separate freezer.
Two
burner gimbaled propane stove with oven.
Microwave
oven.
Hot and cold pressure fresh water in galley,
heads and aft deck shower. 110 volt hot water heater.
Separate foot pumps for fresh and raw water in galley.
ELECTRONICS:
Full electronic package includes VHF, ICOM SSB,
Hummingbird GPS chart plotter, wind indicator, depth
sounder, speed indicator, Scanmar auto pilot, 406 MGZ
EPIRB, AM/FM CD player with two zone sound, TV with
VHS & CD player.
Heart Freedom 25; 2500 Watt Inverter with Battery
Charger and Link 2000 remote control.
ENGINE:
Auxiliary power by 55HP Yanmar turbo charged diesel
engine with electric oil change system.
TANKAGE:
250 gallons of water carried in 3 stainless steel
tanks. 90 gallons of fuel carried in 2 stainless steel
tanks.
SAILS:
Sails include 100% furling genoa, partially battened
main, and staysail flown from removable inner
forestay.
DINGY:
Avon 10 foot RIB with 9.9 HP Mercury outboard is
carried on stainless davits.
GROUND TACKLE:
Ground tackle includes 45# CQR and 40# Fortress on
twin bow rollers, each with 15 feet of stainless steel
chain and 250 feet of 3/4 inch nylon rode.
Ground
tackle is handled by Maxwell 1000 electric windlass
operated by foot switch.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Included in sale is $3000.00 in spare parts, a 6 man
life raft in hard canister, all dishware and linens.
