From his humble beginnings as duck hunter on the Great Lakes, Christopher Columbus Smith created a unique niche in pleasure boating history.
Out of the necessity of a reliable hunting and fishing vessel, Chris-Craft became a household name in the heyday of wooden-hulled pleasure crafts.
One of the most successful parts of his boating legacy is the Chris-Craft Constellation Series of motor yachts that were produced in various lengths and configurations.
During the heydays of the 1960’s, the Constellation Series by Chris-Craft became one of their leading production motor yachts, continuing production through 1972.
The Constellation, or “Connie” as its known, represents one of the finest examples of double-hull mahogany construction available today.
The “Victorious” continues today as the queen of the fleet, turning heads wherever she goes.
